House Sitting
How do you vet your London Domestic house sitters and how do you know they are sticking to your rules?
We have a strict multi-stage vetting process which takes up to two months to complete. All our London Domestic house sitters are mature and reliable people; In addition they are all true animal lovers, which is vital for the job.
Does the London Domestic house sitter stay with my pets all the time?
Owing to minimum wage legislation, unless you specifically request 24-hour care your London Domestic house sitter will be able to leave the property; however our house sitters are employed to care for your home and pets and as such never leave your home unattended for more than three hours.

Am I insured if a house sitter breaks something or keys get lost?
Yes. All London Domestic agency staff have their own insurance cover for up to £1000,000 and in the event that keys are lost there is also cover.
What happens if your London Domestic house sitter gets ill or needs to leave halfway through my holiday?
We have many fully vetted and fully insured people on our books and as such if your house sitter is ill or unable to continue an assignment we will always be able to locate another suitable house sitter to takeover.
What happens if I don't think the London Domestic house sitter you sent is not suitable?
We will do our best to find you someone else.
What does the house sitter do whilst I am away?
Your London Domestic house sitter will undertake the pet and home duties as you have outlined in the initial briefing. Your house sitter is allowed out three hours in the morning and separately three hours in the afternoon.
Pet Visiting
How long will the London Domestic pet visitor visit my pets?
Our London Domestic pet visitors visit for up to one hour undertaking feeding grooming walking changing litter and watering plants etc.
My dog does not walk for long will the London Domestic dog walker stay and keep him company for the rest of the time?
Your London Domestic pet visitor will play, entertain or simply sit with your dog for the remainder of the hour.

Will my dog be let off the lead?
It is strict company policy for a London Domestic dog walker not to let a dog off its lead however, if the owner permits or encourages this that is fine.
I have one dog that is not very sociable or particularly good with other dogs; will my dog be walked with many other dogs?
Our team of dog walkers offer one to one care and work for one client at a time.
Am I insured if my designated London Domestic pet visitor breaks any of my belongings?
London Domestic is covered by Public Liability insurance which provides up to five million cover and certainly protects you in any event.
I have four Dogs will the London Domestic dog walker walk all of them at once?
We will match a London Domestic dog walker with suitable experience and if necessary strength to best undertake the assignment.

What does this service cover and do you provide the gardening apparatus?
London Domestic’s gardening tidying service makes sure your garden is left looking tidy. We can mow the lawn, do your weeding, trim your hedges. The customer must provide the tools.
